SIMILAR CONDITIONS

All individuals with cough do not have TB. Only those individuals who have cough for more than 3 weeks or cough out blood in their sputum should be screened for TB or the following diseases :

• Pneumonia
  
• Lung abscess
  
• Cancer
  
• Heart failure
  
• Bronchitis
  
• Asthma
  
• Fungal diseases - Aspergillosis
