DANGER SIGNALS

• Coughing out large amounts of blood resulting in shock (i.e. fall in blood pressure with a rise in pulse rate).

• Sudden onset of breathlessness.

• Re-appearance of fever and worsening of symptoms. 

• Unexplained weight loss after starting the treatment.

• If the patient experiences the following symptoms while on treatment: 
  

  • Nausea and vomiting

  • Jaundice 

  • Skin rash

  • Deafness 

  • Dizziness 

  • Decreased urination 

  • Diminished vision  

  • Seizures / convulsions
