  • How is it Beneficial?

It has been seen that as many as 75% of women experience some form of complaints whether physical, emotional or psychological, before and during menstruation. Menstrual pain, in particular, is one of the most distressing complaints necessitating frequent visits to a doctor.

Premenstrual syndrome or PMS refers to a constellation of disturbing psychological and physical complaints occurring 7-10 days prior to menstruation. The physical complaints may include a variety of symptoms such as lower abdominal cramps, backache, headache, abdominal bloating, constipation and breast pain. The psychological symptoms before and during menstruation may range from helpless crying episodes, feeling of hopelessness, social withdrawal, sleeplessness to irritability, restlessness, nervousness and unpredictable mood swings. These symptoms may become so intense, that day-to-day activities including performance at workplace, household chores and other tasks may get severely hampered.

Well-Beeing Capsule™ have got several natural components (viz. Valerian extract, Ginger extract, Curcumin) to take care of each of these disturbing complaints.

Curcumin has been shown to inhibit the mediators of pain & inflammation, reduce oxidative stress and decrease cholesterol, triglycerides as well as free fatty acid levels in blood. In addition, it is known to protect from alcohol-induced liver damage. Moreover, it could also be of value as a safe anti-cancer agent.

Ginger extract has been known to have significant anti-inflammatory, anti-emetic (relieves nausea & vomiting), anti-migraine and anti-oxidant properties. These effects are thought to be mediated through inhibition of mediators of pain & inflammation (prostaglandins and leukotrienes) and inhibition of lipid peroxidation.

The Valerian extract has been found to have anti-anxiety, sedative, muscle relaxant (relieves spasm) and anti-ulcer effects. The anti-anxiety and sedative effects of valerian extract have been attributed to increased concentration of the inhibitory neurotransmitter Gamma Amino Butyric Acid or GABA.
